Until our move-in date, we have some light remodeling to do so that we can get it set up as an Orthodox church. We hope to begin some feast day services in there by mid-September. Watch the Service Schedule for the latest updates.
BACKGROUND
We have been renting at the Roanoke Council of Garden Clubs for five years now. For most of those years, that space has been more than adequate. However, since we received a full time priest last year, our growth has more than doubled. We now need additional space where we can meet for weekday services, classes, and events. We spent over a year searching for a new space to rent, so finding this space has been great!
Prior to our leasing the space, there was a Protestant congregation meeting there called New Generation Church (Google Street View and other mapping services still show the space as New Generation).
