This month, we brought in a few new catechumens (Nathan, Bre, and Riley), and we’ve restarted the catechism classes. If you’re interested in attending, please reach out to Fr. Jeremy. Classes are held at our church at 5pm on Saturdays. They’re about 30 minutes each.

Here’s a rough lesson outline of what we’ll be covering. Some of the material may be split across multiple lessons:

  1. God as Mystery (Oct. 8)
  2. God as Contradiction (Oct. 21)
  3. The Church as a Hospital and Holy Tradition
  4. The Daily Cycle of Church Services
  5. Church Etiquette
  6. Orthodox Home Life (including the prayer rule and fasting)
  7. The Church Calendar
  8. Common Struggles for Converts
  9. The Bible
  10. The Divine Liturgy

I may make recordings of some of these publicly available. If so, I’ll either update this post or create a new one.
